Ahoy & welcome to the Pirate Nation Creator Program. Since the very beginning of Pirate Nation, we’ve leaned in & worked closely with our community to shape and prioritize game features, ultimately defining the game’s roadmap. Now that we’re 1+ year into the game, we’re ready to take engaging, supporting, and amplifying content creators who are passionate about Pirate Nation to the next level.
🫵 Who is the program for?
Anyone who plays and is passionate about Pirate Nation, who creates social or web content in any format & any language on a weekly basis. It doesn’t matter where you live, how many followers you have, or whether you are experienced or just starting out at content creation.
🎁 What are the perks?
We’re supporting & amplifying content creators in a number of ways: ✅ Access to future creator calls hosted by the Pirate Nation team ✅ Get featured & amplified across Pirate Nation’s social media channels ✅ Early access to game updates / new features or playtests, where appropriate ✅ Receive recognition & prizes if selected as an exceptional creator ⭐ Be eligible to receive a Verified Creator role & badge in our Discord server ⭐ Verified Creators: eligible to receive BOOTY Points for posting about Pirate Nation ⭐ Verified Creators: eligible for paid promotional opportunities (including online & in-person events and other social / marketing tasks and campaigns) Over time we will likely be adding to this list, as well as generally prioritizing Pirate Nation creators for other new opportunities as we expand the game & community.

Getting started is easy, and you can begin today. Use the #PirateCreator tag each time you post content, and make sure you join the Pirate Nation Discord server. Complete one of our localized application forms in order to apply for the Verified Creator role:

✅ Eligibility checklist for perks
To be eligible for perks, you must:
Post self-made Pirate Nation content at least once a week on at least one social media platform (X / Twitter, Twitch, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or Snapchat).
Complete the application form & introduce yourself in the #creator-chat channel in our Discord.
Stay up to date with creator announcements and by following the @PirateNation and @ProofOfPlay X (Twitter) accounts.
✨ What sort of content works best?
Pirate Nation stands for good, clean family-friendly fun, and keeps accessibility, inclusivity, and lightheartedness top of mind. Where relevant please incorporate these values and themes into any Pirate Nation content. Access our content creation folder and our art & assets licensing agreement. Recommended themes: game features, game lore, community features and events, tasteful humor and memes, benefits of fully onchain games, team or building approach, interesting facts, or related. Prohibited themes & content include anything vulgar, rude or otherwise offensive, and anything that leans heavily into price talk or unfounded speculation. Such content cannot be amplified or supported by Pirate Nation, for obvious reasons, and in extreme cases may mean removal from the Creator Program.
🚫 Program anti-goals
Anti-goals of the program are (1) artificial hype or speculation that could mislead the market, and (2) to create, attract, or be involved in any negativity - ‘drama’ or otherwise offensive or divisive content that brings you, or by extension, Pirate Nation or Proof of Play, into disrepute.

Expect this program to change & evolve based on feedback and data. Like everything we do, we aim to continuously iterate & improve, the more feedback you provide, the more you can be part of this process!

🏴☠️ Is exclusivity required?
This program is non-exclusive and anyone may participate using the #PirateCreator tag.
🏴☠️ How will we identify your content?
We’ll spot your content across channels when you use the #PirateCreator tag. Feel free to share it in the #amplify-content Discord channel for visibility and support, as well.
🏴☠️ What happens after I complete my application?
If approved, you will be able to participate in the creator chat, receive exclusive updates, and be able to access some of the available perks. To receive the full list of perks, including BOOTY Points, you will need to be a Verified Creator. See the next question for more info about becoming a Verified Creator.
🏴☠️ How do I receive the Verified Creator Role?
The Verified Creator role is assigned at the discretion of the Pirate Nation team. To be eligible to receive the verified creator role you must post original content at least twice a week on social media, with #PirateCreator tagged, for a period of 4 weeks, and have completed the application form. Community contribution, deeper engagement or an accelerated posting schedule may help increase the speed of the approval process.
🏴☠️ How do I receive the Distinguished Creator Role?
The Distinguished creator role (Discord role icon is denoted by a gold border) is assigned at the discretion of the Pirate Nation team to creators who go above & beyond on exceptional content creation efforts, achieve “firsts” or otherwise accomplish something notable, worthy of such recognition. The first two recipients of the distinguished creator role are Murdoch and Jaikens.
🏴☠️ How do I receive the Honorable Pirate Totem?
The Honorable Pirate totem is given to Distinguished Creators, when they receive their role, so that they have an in-game item reflecting their accomplishments.
🏴☠️ Once I'm a Verified Creator, when will I receive BOOTY Points?
The Pirate Nation team will distribute BOOTY Points at its own discretion, on its own schedule. The distribution of codes is intended to help you grow your audience, while helping Pirate Nation onboard genuine, net new players to the game.
